Error when use shortcode [products] with elementor in archive page

VU Cong

Hello team,

When I enable “Show swatches on archive / shop page”, 2 errors occur on archive page along with shortcode

+ elementor pro
1.  Lots of logs [Violation] ‘setTimeout’ handler took 75ms add-to-cart-variation.min.js?ver=1.1.18:1 in google chrome log.
2. The color swatches are visible in the archive page but if I click on another color the image will not change to that color.

I disabled all plugins only enable elementor, woocommerce and variation swatch. And when I change different themes, the same error occurs.

Please help. Thank team so much!!

Thank you. Unfortunately, my website is absolutely secure, so I can’t create an admin account for you.
You just need to install elementor + pro, variation swatch + pro, woocommerce. You will get the same error as I mentioned above.

– When I disable elementor + pro, then I don’t get Lots of logs [Violation] ‘setTimeout’ handler took 75ms add-to-cart-variation.min.js?ver=1.1.18:1 in google chrome log but will still encounter a lot of logs like [Violation] Forced reflow while executing JavaScript took 249ms
– Even when I turn off elementor, only variation swatch + woocommerce, I still get the error: The color swatches are visible in the archive page but if I click on another color the image will not change to that color.

Hope you will help me!

Did you try to disable this option? Don’t forget to clear your cache before checking your site again.

Can you please give us your site link to check?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank You

Thanks you. I have tried installing 2 identical websites but only my website has the error “The color swatches are visible in the archive page but if I click on another color the image will not change”. You can check:

I don’t know the reason either. But in version 1.1.0 I don’t get that error, only when I update version 1.1.19 I get error

OMG! Thank you so much! I don’t know why the error was fixed.

I found that after installing the variation swatch plugin, and turning on the “Show swatches on archive / shop page” feature, the TTFB increased from 3s -> 6s. The category page loads very slowly.

Hope you can improve plugin performance.

Hi VU,

Glad to know the error is fixed from your side.

Yes, we are working on Swatches Version 2 to improve our plugin performance.

If you have a staging site with the same setup, I can install the under-development version on your staging.

Then you can test and report to us if it boosts the site performance or not.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank You
