We change the default dropdowns to button, color, and image type swatches.
WooCommerce ads the dropdowns to the Add To Cart filter.
BTW, I can see multiple attempts to hide the Add To Cart.

I have to hide the Add to Cart button. This is not a shop, it is a catalogue.
Why did it work before, as you can see in the image I attached. I had it working where the swatches showed and the add to cart button was hidden.

Ok I got it working on the single product page, but now the variation swatches are missing from my shop page

Variation Swatch not showing on product page

I previously had colour swatches on every product page, now none are showing, except under related products. I had to back-up my website and reimport it, and when I did they no longer showed.
This is how it is now, with no colour swatches showing for main product:
