Variation buttons not graying or Xing out after inventory goes to 0

We are creating a site for a client selling booth spaces. In testing, we added about 10 variations and your plugin worked perfectly as each booth that sold grayed and X-ed out. We just created the first real page to be used and now the plugin still changes the variations to buttons, but does not X or gray out sold booths (right now Booth 14 is sold). Is there a limit to the number of variations this will work with?

Theme is Astra and all plugins are at their current version. Checkbox is clicked for “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”. Each variation is checked for Manage Stock at Product Level.

A little stumped as to why it stopped working and any guidance to get this sorted will be greatly appreciated.

Hey, Guys…sorry to be a pest, but have an impatient client on my hands. Any way you can get a look at things for us soon?

As a follow up…we have been doing some testing and it seems like the X Out / Gray Out feature stops working at 31 variations. Is there some sort of limitation with the plugin that it will only work with up to 30 product variations?

OK…we found the setting that limited variations to 30. The bad news is it seems that 80 is the limit and for events that our clients offer, they would need more. Is there any way to increase that number beyond 80?

Hi Tim,

We are sorry for the late response, this is our weekend.

You will need the premium version to bypass this.

With the premium version, you can disable the Ajax threshold, so there is no limit.

I hope this answers your question.

Thank You

Hey, Golam…

Thanks for getting back to us. The good news is that installing the Pro version did indeed fix the issue of removing the threshold.

The bad news is the product variants are not updating now as stock is removed (ie: if we change a stock level on a booth from 1 to 0, it still shows the item in stock). This is happening no matter what variant we test on.

We created a second test product after we installed the plugin thinking perhaps that would do the trick, but it shows the same symptom. There is no caching applied to the site, so that is not factoring in.

Any ideas what might be causing this issue?
