Compatibility issue with WooCommerce Product Bundles

Mohamed Makri

Hi!

There is a compatibility issue between WooCommerce Product Bundles and Variation Swatches.

Cannot add to cart a bundle product that have variations. The message “Please choose “XXX” and “XXX” options does not disappear even after selecting the variations”. By disabling the Variation Swatches extension the problem goes away. You can test for yourself if you want it’s a staging-site.

Do you think you can do something?

Thank you!

Hi Mohamed,

Sorry for the late answer. It was our weekend.

There is a new version available for the WooCommerce Bundle Products plugin.

Will you please update and check if the problem is still there?

As it is a staging site, can I do these ^ sorts of tests?

Thanks a lot for being patient with us.

Hi!

I’m sorry I thought you didn’t receive my message or that my support subscription was out of date.

I made the update on the staging-site and the problem is still there (I had already done the update on the production site and it had not solved the problem).

Yes you can do any test you need to do.

Thanks!

Hi Mohamed,

Thanks for confirming. I have collected the plugin.

I will further test this on your site and my local environment.

I will let you know if I need anything and also share my findings with you.

Thank You

Hi Mohamed,

Sorry for the delayed response, I was on leave.

I am trying to reproduce the issue but failed to do so. It is working properly.

I am working on your issue here-

Will you please help me reproduce it?

I have found where the problem is coming from (it took me hours) but I have no solution.

On your demo version, go to Products -> Attributes -> Sizes:

Then, put “Medium” on top:

It does not work anymore:

So if the variation that is forced in the bundle product (in our example “Medium”) is at the top in Attributes, there is a issue.

EDIT: To be more precise, the variation that is forced in the product bundle (medium) should not be above the other variations (small, large) in attributes.
