WooCommerce Color Filter Widget

Hi ,

I updated the plugin to its latest version which is 1.1.16 (the latest available to me) but the color swatches are still not showing in the filter color widget .

In your videos, it shows that the latest version is 1.1.18 , but its not showing at my end – so i am not sure if that is the problem.

I am not sure what to do – please assist to be able to show the color swatches in my sidebar shop page widget.

thanks

Venita

Hi Venita,

Thanks for reaching us. We are sorry for your inconvenience.

Our latest version of plugins are-

Variation Swatches Free 1.1.17

Variation Swatches Pro 1.1.17

Did you update both of them? If problem still persists could you send us the latest version of the theme that you are using on your site. We’ll try to investigate your issue installing your theme on our local setup.

You can upload the theme file in Dropbox or Google drive and send the download link here directly.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you

Hello Venita Makhoul,

I have installed your theme on my local machine and get the colors in filter widget. Here is a screencast.

If I create a staging site for you. Could you please reproduce your issue there? May be I couldn’t configure things like you.

Please let me know, if you are interested. Don’t worry I will install theme, plugins and upload test products too. You just need to setup things like yours.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Hello,

Sorry for the very late reply..

So i had an issue with my filter widget . The screencast you sent me shows that the filter works well with the shop page and it actually works well with my shop page as well. However , i am not using my theme standard shop page, i actually designed one using the pro template forms provided by my theme and i figured that your filter is NOT compatible with the archive pro template but only works with the standard shop page .

I hope i didn’t confuse you and i was able to communicate the issue. in all cases, you can find below link i recorded which shows the issue and how the filter widget is not functional with my shop page template design.

(to note that in the video , you will notice another filter on top of the sidebar , please ignore this one as it belongs to my theme provider. I want to be able to use your filter instead so that is why i am reaching out).

please check it out and i hope you can help.

if you need further info , let me know.

thanks

Venita

Hello Venita Makhoul,

Now I understand your issue clearly.

Actually, our codebase works with the WooCommerce default shop page. So, if you want the color filter option you should use the default WooCommerce shop template.

Just for clarification, there are lots of themes and they have different coding styles. It is difficult to fix the compatibility issue for each and every theme. Therefore, we are suggesting the default WooCommerce shop template for your website.

I hope I could clear your confusion 🙂

Thanks
