Auto Convert All Dropdowns Into Image Swatches If Variation Has Featured Image is not working when you have 2 different attributes

Mohamad Sakr

Out of nowhere, “Auto Converting All Dropdowns Into Image Swatches If Variation Has Featured Image” feature is no longer working when the product has 2 attributes or more. Attached are the relevant settings and front end expression. If “color” is the only attribute, the plugin works. If there’s an extra attribute to choose from then the attribute terms are display as buttons (as if the pro plugin is not activated).

Hi Mohamad,

You need to select the appropriate option from here.

Here, you have Case Size as the first attribute but it is Button type. I think you have the first attribute selected so it is now working.

Will you please set the color as your first attribute and check if it is working or not?

Thank You

Hello there,

Previously, the fact that Case Size attribute type is set to “Button” made the plugin automatically recognize the Color (type: Select) as the default image type attribute. This logic makes more sense as I don’t want the color to be the first attribute.

Hi Mohamad,

This is how it works. For the button type, it will work for all of the attributes.

There are two other options, to make this work. Most of the use cases are covered with those three options.

You don’t have to make the color attribute the first attribute if you don’t want to.

Let me know if you have further confusion.

Thank You
