Swatches not displaying correctly after update

Jaco Visser

Hi there,

After udpating the plugin past Friday, the swatches are not showing correctly anymore. They are now only showing white squares, where they were showing the variations correctly before the update.

Please assist.

Hi Jaco,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com It helps me to figure out the issue quickly and squash it immediately.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you

Hi Jaco,

Could you please share how you processed the update job? Have deleted our swatches plugin before the update?

Now you may rollback to the 1.1.2 version for the free and premium version? Here is the tutorial on how you can rollback: https://www.loom.com/share/2d8bc9351e864e1d964e319e27564250

Please download 1.1.2 version for Variation Swatches For WooCommerce from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14VXZzxPpEWlN2e-VWRsWF_8VIKc5Ik29/view?usp=sharing

Thank You

Hello Jaco Visser,

You may be updated your WooCommerce database, please contact your hosting provider to restore your old database backup. I hope this issue will be solved.

Thanks

Jaco Visser

Hi Tanvirul, sorry but that is not an option. Why can’t you login and have a look yourself?

Tanvirul Haque

Hi Jaco,

We are really sorry for your inconvenience.

I have checked your site from the admin panel. We think it could happen when your WooCommerce or its database has been updated so the perfect option is to restore the backup. I think you can understand now.

Thank you
