Inactive Product Swatches

Hi, I have colors of products where we are sold out and I have deactivated the variation, but the swatches are displayed and then removed by Javascript or whatever, adding several seconds to get to the final result.

I want to only attempt to display swatches for ACTIVE variations. If someone has a very slow connection, the inactive ones could be displayed for 5 seconds or more!

I made before and after images of our shop page, but you can also go there: https://sheepdreamzzz.org/shop-handmade-baby-blankets/ – I do not see where to attach images but maybe it is on the next page.

If you cannot fix this, I will have to delete the variations to keep this from happening, even those that we plan to use in the future.

Here is the Loom recording. You can see how initially all (active and inactive) variations are represented in the swatches (my variations are by color), but then a few seconds later the inactive ones disappear.

I think it should only attempt to display swatches associated with active variations.

It should not look to see if colors (attributes) are active, as I may have colors that I use for other products as well. It should consider variation status within each product.

Could you update your free and premium version of the WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin?

The current version of swatches plugins is the following.

Variation Swatches for WoooCoommerce – Version 1.1.6

Variation Swatches for WooCommerce Pro – Version 1.1.6

Please make sure you are using the same version and let me know your reported issue has been fixed or not in this latest update?

After the successful update makes sure to clear your browser, website and CDN caches if you have any.

If still, the problem exists can you please give us temporary admin access to your site? We’ll try to investigate the issue for you.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin and set the info here.

I updated and the problem is still there. You have the login info and I enabled login from Bangladesh – please tell me if that is not the correct country.
