FIRST Craft Beer variation problems

Hello,

I’m writing to you on behalf of the FIRST Craft Beer brewery’s webshop at https://shop.firstcraftbeer.com/

We’re using variations for our beers (0.33 L bottle or can mostly), and we have a problem since yesterday.

Right now if you click on Constant or Seasonal Beers (menus 2 and 3, respectively), you can see our current beers and the button under them says “Choosing options”.

Even if there’s only 1 variation, which is chosen as default, there’s no “Add to Cart”, only “Choosing options”.

If I go into the products’ page (for example: https://shop.firstcraftbeer.com/uzlet/first-sorok/szezonalis-sorok/victorias-new-secret/), the default choice is wrong and I have to click the variation type twice, before getting a result and being able to put the product into the cart.

What can we do to make it work better?Thank you,

Could you update your free (1.1.2) and pro (1.1.2) versions of the WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin? Please let me know your reported issue has been fixed or not in this latest update?

Unfortunately there’s no option to update the pro version from 10.0.31. The free plugin is updated.

Right now, whether I choose a default variation or not,

the products’ variation can not be chosen from the category page, users must enter the products’ pages
on the products’ pages, variation must be chosen

if there’s a default variation, it cannot be put into the cart directly, but the first click is “deselecting” the variation and the second is choosing it
if there’s no default variation, it has to be chosen on the products’ pages.

Can you please give us a temporary admin access to your site? We’ll try to investigate the issue for you.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin and set the info here.

Thanks, before I add the admin access, I might solve this, I only have one question (most other issues were solved with the Pro licence):
Right now the only button that appears under the products on the shop/category page is “choose options”, and then it leads the customer to the product page – can I change it so customers can add the chosen variations to the cart on the category page?

Hello,

Because of the unique theme-child we’re using, I can’t update it right now.

However, the issue was not fixed – right now, customers can add only 1 product to their cart.

Please, solve the issue immediately so that customers can add 1+ products to their cart /product type.

To clarify: customers can add multiple products now, if they click on add to cart – then again on the product, then again on add to cart.

What we had working for the last year was a count with “+” and “-” so customers could add multiple products to their cart from the category page by choosing the amount and clicking once on add to cart.

Please respond the the problems mentioned above – right now a customer can only add 1 product of each with ease, and we’d like to offer them to add multiple products with only one click.

The current version of swatches plugins is the following.

Variation Swatches for WoooCoommerce – Version 1.1.5

Variation Swatches for WooCommerce Pro – Version 1.1.5

Please make sure you are using the same version and let me know your reported issue has been fixed or not in this latest update?

We are sorry for your inconvenience. Could you please do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error:

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugins.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to figure out the issue quickly and squash it immediately.

And don’t forget to add your site login details in the site login details area. I’ll check what’s happening there.

Meanwhile I checked the plugins and could not identify any one that would cause the problem.

I’ve made a video of it. Again: I can add a product to the cart but only one.

For more than a year, we could add more than one can/bottle of the same product to the cart. Now it is not possible.

You may make a staging site and then try it. And you have to update your parent theme as well.
