“Show on filter widget” not working in Breakdance

Hi,

I’m using the Variation Swatches for WooCommerce Pro plugin while building my site with Breakdance. So far, the two have worked together perfectly, however…

When trying to add a filter to the sidebar of my shop for the color variation. Nothing shows up.

I’ve deactivated the option “Show on filter widget” and a list of the colors appears.

Do you have a solution to get the color swatches working as a filter in Breakdance?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I can see by enabling the “Show on filter widget” option disappearing the attributes.

Please contact Breakdance support and ask them if they have any option to load the default widget of WordPress.

I’ve contacted breakdance, and they had the following to say:

“We were unable to find any immediate solutions for this on our end.
We’ve added this information as an enhancement suggestion for the future, but I cannot estimate when or if it may be included. ”

Hi Sem,

Unfortunately, we have no control over the builder.

Our plugin has support for the Gutenberg widget and the Legacy widget as well.

They have their customized Filter by Attribute.

So, our plugin can’t override their customized Filter by Attribute.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi Hakik,

I’m having some succes using “FilterEverything” plugin. It allows me to make the filter a shortcode, and has an experimental feature that allows for swatches. SO far it seems to display the swatches, and it’s just a matter of customising the css to my preferences.

Ofcourse, if in the future we can avoid adding an extra plugin, that would be preferable.
