how to create a color border based on the attribute of the variant

hi, i would like to get a guide on how to create color border based on variant attribute
for example: i have product with size A and B, if any variant is in stock status then it will show blue border, if any variant is in pending status – can pre-order then it will show red border
can you guide me? thanks
