Please give the option of not displaying

Hello. Thankyou for this software, it is great. I do have an issue that I would appreciate you could address please. I would like to use this to display office furniture colours and nothing else. Some of my products have to chairs, so the first attribute shows. This is the only option that suits me. I understand you can change the attribute to anything or the first. But I would like the ability to have the option of not showing anything on the page.

Here are 2 examples of products where there are no colour attributes, so nothing shows. I think this would be better

IT200 Intro Moulded High Back Task Chair High curved backrest

Inflexion Executive Task Chair – Wave Office

Intro IT100 Medium Back – Wave Office

The above shows arm options, can this be switched off. I think it would look better with nothing rather than showing arm options. I cannot find a setting to be able to do this. I know I can change global settings to select “colour” but I have many different attributes, such as “fabric Colour” Wood Colour, desktop colour and more

If you are able to make software changes that would be great. Many thanks

sorry I didn’t realize you had replied to this. So is this not possible not to show attributes on the category page?

Are you saying I have to request the feature?

I have tried changing the swatch settings but nothing works to hide images of products that don’t have a colour but everything I do has no effect

You can adjust the settings from the product level.

Hi Michael,

You can also change all other attributes (except the color attributes) to the button/radio type attributes.

This is how you can change attribute type.

Thankyou for the video. Yes I am aware you can change from an image to a button. That is better at the product level page. It is the cat page, where buttons dont look great, and it would be better that nothing shows rather than the buttons

The Hag Sofi mesh looks great, with the 2 colour options. The IT200 and Inflexion with the 2 buttons doesnt look great in my opinion. Can this be sorted? Can younot add the function on the catalog mode attribute to say hide? Can we please get this sorted out as i’m happy with everything else. Many thanks

Hi Michael,

Please add product IDs to exclude the swatches like this screencast.

While hovering over the edit product, you can find the ID at the bottom.
