Different Syle Sizes and “not compatible variations”-hiding

Hello,

we think about buying the Premium Version of your product but have two questions.

  1. Is ist possible to change only the size of the attributes with images in it? Example: We have buttons and images in the variations of one product. Can we now make the image buttons bigger but not the text buttons? I only find the option to change size of all buttons all together.
  2. Is it possible to not show variations that are not possible? For example i want it like this: if I take a green shirt then i can only choose XL and M and if i take red it’s only S and M Size. I have already made the variations so only possible are available. They are not “out of stock” they are indeed “not possible”. But it shows every attribute no matter what attribute I chose before.

You can do this with the premium version of the plugin. Here is the option.

Thank you for your fast respond. The first answer is perfect!

For the second point we got a solution from our coder. He wrote a code which deactivates the showing of attributes which don’t have a common variation and don’t work together. There are two pictures attached what I mean. It’s in the same product page.

When there is a “3er Schlafbank” it can only be “53 cm”.

When there is “Einzelsitze” or “keine Sitze” it can only be “56 cm”

Variations are created only for the compatible combinations.

The only problem our coder mentioned is that with this code the page speed can decrease drastically.

Maybe you have a solution for this?

Yes, you can set different shapes for your attributes.

There is a product-level setting to change it (premium feature).

We can also help implement a global solution.

If you have not created those attributes, they should not be there.

If you share the product page link and give us temporary admin access, we can inspect the issue for you.

Hi,

i created all of the attributes but not the variations out of all of them.

For example:

 

Attributes:

Color Shirt: Green, Red

Sizes: 46, 48, 50, 52

 

Now the variations:

Green Shirt is only available in Size 46 and 48

Red Shirt is only available in Size 50 and 52

 

And we are not talking about “out of stock” but these shirts are always only available in these sizes.

Now it shows me the possibilty to pick green shirt in all 4 Sizes although it should not show 50 and 52 when I pick Green.

 

Kind of conditional logik with consecutive choice from top to bottom.

Hi,

this specific problem was not solved through the premium version but our coder wrote us something for CSS that manages this problem.

Maybe it could be interesting for your plugin to offer something like conditional attribute choosing in the future.

But that’s a little special most of the companys won’t need something like that.
