Yes, it is a permanent fix.
If the bundle plugin makes any changes (which is highly unlikely) then we will have to adjust it.

Variation Gallery for WooCommerce issue

The variation gallery is working correctly for the product itself. However, if there are ‘Bundle sell’ linked products displayed, when a colour/image swatch is selected for the main product, it also changes the image of the linked products to the variation image of the main product.
E.g.:
This is a sample product, with a bundle sell linked product:
When a colour swatch is selected for the main product, the bundle sell linked product image changes from the correct product’s image, to the main product image:
