Feature Request: Improved Color and Size Selection Workflow for Out-of-Stock Items

I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out to inquire about the possibilities and potential costs for developing an enhanced user experience on our product pages regarding color and size selection, especially when stock is limited. Here’s what we’re looking to achieve:

Current Situation:
When a product has different colors and sizes, and not all sizes or colors are in stock, users need to manually toggle between various checkboxes to see availability. This requires multiple actions, which can be cumbersome.

Desired Functionality:

• Seamless Color Selection: We want users to be able to click on a color swatch without manually toggling checkboxes. Upon clicking a color, the available sizes for that color should be displayed automatically.
• Default Size Selection: When a color is selected, the smallest available size should be auto-selected (or the default size should be the smallest one in stock).
• Reduced Actions: Overall, we’re looking to minimize the number of actions users need to take, making the process as smooth and intuitive as possible, especially when stock is low or some variations are unavailable.
