Facing issue with gallery slide

Aditya Vikram

As you will see in this video, you will notice that while the video is playing, it’s still swiping right by itself which should not happen. How can I fix this issue?

Hi Aditya,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Please disable this option and try again.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank You

Aditya Vikram

But we need the gallery to slide automatically or else our visitors are not getting to know that there are more videos in the gallery. So auto slide is required. The problem is that when the video is playing, it should stop the auto slide.

Hi Aditya,

Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available.

Our development team is on vacation.

I will share this with my team and let you know here the update.

Thank You

Aditya Vikram

But this is not a feature. It’s a bug. The gallery should not slide when a video is playing.

You can call it a bug or request. 😉

I will share this with my team and let you know the update from them.

Thank You

Aditya Vikram

When do you think developers are back from the vacation?

Hakik Zaman

Hi Aditya,

Sorry for my late reply. We were on a vacation for Durga Puja.

I have forwarded your request to our development team.

Once I get a response from them I will let you know here.

Unfortunately, I am unable to speed up this process.

Thanks in advance for your patience.

Aditya Vikram

Hi, I understand that you are unable to speed up the process but it’s been 10 days since Durga was over. Do you think they can help now?

Hakik Zaman

Hi Aditya,

I have forwarded that to the development team.

They are trying to add your requested behavior.

I will push them again for you.

Thank You

Aditya Vikram

Did you mean they are fixing this in an upcoming update?

Hakik Zaman

Hi Aditya,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I am unable to assure it will be added in the next update.

But, the development team is working on that requested feature. We used a third-party library to display the slider.

So, we don’t have full control over the library. Also, for the YouTube/Vimeo video, we didn’t use API. To make it simple for the user, we didn’t use that. Therefore, we have very limited control over the Youtube/Vimeo videos.

One good news is our development team was working on our slider script. We hope in the coming releases that will implemented by replacing the third-party library.

So, they are trying to find a way to implement the feature with the existing setup. Also, working on the new script. So, it is taking time.

I hope you will understand.

Thank You
