Show variations as single products in product category list

Hi, I have an e-commerce store with size and color variations. I display swatches in the product archive as well. I want to show color variations as individual products while keeping the swatches underneath.
For example, if I have a t-shirt available in 5 colors and multiple sizes, I want to display 5 different products, each with the swatches still visible underneath. How can I achieve this?
