Automatically covert swatch in image (set priorities)

Hello,
We have a question: On our website, when a product has a color swatch or a single variation attribute (like on this product), the swatch automatically converts into an image. However, we would like to know how to configure this feature to also work for products that have both dimensions and pattern variations (such as this product). Could you guide us on how to pull the correct image from the variation in these cases on pattern swatch?
