Reset variation selecting when selecting first variation

Hi,
First of all, great plugin, thank you. My question: We have a product with 2 variations, right now when the user selects the first variation it shows/hides the possible second variations, but when the user chooses the second variation the first variation is locked until the clear button is pressed.
Is it possible for the first variation to stay open / clickable even after selecting the second variation, and that even if I have a second variation selected, changing the first variation is possible and would reset the selection of the second variation?
