cant activate swatches pro plugin

Hi,
up until a few days ago everything was fine, it seems that both the basic and pro version of the plugin cannot be activate at the same time.
the pro needs the basic plugin for the settings/functionality.
if i activate the pro it deactivates the basic, and visa versa.
