Assistance Required with “Variation Swatches for WooCommerce” Plugin Import Issue

Tushar Dewangan

Hello Team,

I am currently working on an eCommerce theme and utilizing the “Variation Swatches for WooCommerce” plugin to enhance its appearance. However, we are encountering an issue during the demo import process. While all data is being imported correctly via XML, the attribute types are not being imported with the demo.

For the import process, we are using the “One Click Demo Import” plugin. Could you please assist in resolving this issue at your earliest convenience?

Thank you.

Hi Tushar,

The attribute types are not being imported with the demo.

For the import process, we are using the “One Click Demo Import” plugin.

We do not have any control over how the One Click Demo Import plugin imports the attributes and their types.

I have created the following test site for you.

If you can help us replicate the issue here, this will help us understand the issue and give suggestions.

Thank You

Hello Team,

I have created a basic layout to test the variation swatches for importing the attribute type and configuration of the plugin using the “Hello Elementor” theme. I only used a few plugins: “Elementor,” “WooCommerce,” and “Variation Swatches for WooCommerce.” Additionally, I added a few variable products.

After creating the demo, I tried to import the data via an XML file. However, the variation attribute type and configuration of the “Variation Swatches for WooCommerce” plugin did not import correctly. Can you please help us resolve this issue?

Hi Tushar,

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, we don’t have support for 3rd partly export/import.

We have support for the default import/export option of WooCommerce.

Please ensure that plugins are installed and active on both sites.

Let me know if this helps.

Thank You

Hello Golam Kibria,

I have attempted to import our products using the default import/export option in WooCommerce. While the products were successfully imported, the variation attributes, specifically the style type, were not imported.

Could you please assist us by attempting the import using our XML file and provide a screen recording of the process, including the configuration and import of the variation swatches style?

You can access the XML file here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mBxm7uj–l5pxAvD7Nn2o0JOArsXj4c2

Thank you

Hello Golam Kibria,

I have attempted to import products using both the default CSV import option in WooCommerce and an XML import to replicate the entire website. Unfortunately, neither method has yielded the desired results. Specifically, the “Attribute type” is not displaying correctly on the product pages. Instead of showing the “color type” in the assigned color block as created (e.g., red, blue, white) with the “Variation Swatches for WooCommerce” plugin, it only appears in the default style.

I have attached the CSV file for your review and testing, along with a screenshot for reference. I hope this will help you better understand the issue.

Hi Tushar,

I made this screencast while importing products from one site to another.

Let me know if this helps.
