URL is changing when i add the swatches to the archive page

Hello,

I am encountering an issue where when Variation Swatches is active on the archive (category) pages, it causes the URL to change to the single product.

The problem can be seen here:

https://wintherstudio.be/produkt-kategori/smycken/oredobber/

Here are the technical details of my setup:

  • WordPress version: 42
  • WooCommerce version: 8.6.1
  • Other active major plugins: Oxygen, Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Deactivating all plugins except for Oxygen, Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce, WooCommerce.

The problem disappears when i deactivate Variation Swatches for WooCommerce and Variation Swatches for WooCommerce – Pro

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please try to deactivate Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce and then try again.

I think they have used reserved JS words like- URL inside your plugin script.

Disabling this option- https://paste.pics/QXXAV from our plugin settings will resolve your issue, even with Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce activated.

So, the “Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce” plugin is somehow changing the value URL.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Oxygen Elements for WooCommerce is a must have for Oxygen users, so I will go with the solution to turn off generate variation url.
