The premium version of the plugin requires the basic one to be installed and active.
You will find that most of the freemium models follow this technique.

See below. I am trying to reduce the # of plugins I have to improve web speed.
I have the Additonal Variations Images Gallery for WooCommerce.
I have the Pro Version, so can I delete the basic version? Are 2 plugins needed?
Or since I have the PRo version, I can delete the original version?
Why do I need both downloaded?
