Issue with Advanced Variations Images Gallery Plugin – Thumbnails Not Updating Main Product Image and Additional Display Issues

Dear WooPlugins Support Team,

I am reaching out for assistance with a few issues related to the Advanced Variations Images Gallery plugin on our product page. Here’s a brief description of the problems we are encountering:

  1. Thumbnail Interaction Problem: Occasionally, when clicking on the thumbnail images, the main product image does not update as expected. This seems to occur more frequently after multiple thumbnail interactions.
  2. Thumbnail Display Issue: When I set the width of the main product image to 100%, the black borders on the right side of the thumbnails are no longer visible.
  3. Frame around Product Images: Additionally, I would like to know if it’s possible to add a frame around the product images to enhance their appearance on our page.

These issues have been observed on multiple browsers and devices. I am using the latest version of the plugin.

Could you record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to quickly figure out the issue and squash it immediately.

I can see you have added custom CSS to add border. Please remove that one and add the following then change the parameters as per your need-

.wvg-gallery-thumbnail-image {
border: 10px solid red;
}
