we were hoping to be able to set the colour and then once they are all set we can then make it live otherwise it will have to go live as we are adding them.

Regarding the swatches, we have 190 colours so it will take us quite a long time to select the colours for these.
We were hoping we could set the colours without having to activate the swatches until they are all done but it sounds like we will have to just take the site offline while we set the colour swatches?

Do you want to add color before activating the swatches plugin? Adding color to the attribute terms is a feature of the Variation Swatches plugin. So it is not possible to add color before you activate our plugin on your site.
You can create a staging site, make all the products with the attributes, export all the products from the staging site, and then upload the products on the live site. I think this will resolve your issue.

This plugin is brilliant. We are looking to use on our site of which we have over 400 products.
Our question is that when we activate the colour swatch we are then able to choose the colour in the attribute setting but we were hoping to be able to set the colour and then once they are all set we can then make it live otherwise it will have to go live as we are adding them.
