Variations showing as unavailable

Darren Smith

I have had your swatches plugin for multiple years.  I have always had the issue where products show swatches that are blurred despite variations being in stock and available.

https://wcuniforms.com/shop/clothing/bottoms/uniform-bottoms/under-armour-ua-storm-tactical-patrol-pants/

Above is one example.  The following variations are in stock.  However, your plugin is blurring the swatches and leading customers to think that the variations are unavailable.  When a customer clicks on the swatches, it will show the stock quantity.  However, with the swatches blurred, or blurred with a red “X” customers may never click.

Hi Darren,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to quickly figure out the issue.

Thank you

Darren Smith

Please just go to my site.  You will see that the product pages are showing swatches as grayed out despite the products having a positive stock level

https://wcuniforms.com/shop/clothing/bottoms/uniform-bottoms/under-armour-ua-storm-tactical-patrol-pants/

For example, if you click color black, waist 40″, inseam 34″ you will see that 2 are in stock.  However, a customer may not know it is in stock because the swatch is gray and makes the items seem like it is not available.

Hi Darren,

Could you update your free and premium version of the WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin?

The current version of Swatches plugins is the following.

Variation Swatches for WooCoommerce – Version 2.0.29

Variation Swatches for WooCommerce Pro – Version 2.0.29

Please make sure you are using the same version and let me know if your reported issue has been fixed or not in this latest update.

Thank You

Darren Smith

My site has been on 2.0.29 for both the free and pro plugins.

The problem has been present for several updates.

Hi Darren,

https://wcuniforms.com/shop/clothing/bottoms/uniform-bottoms/under-armour-ua-storm-tactical-patrol-pants/

For example, if you click color black, waist 40″, inseam 34″ you will see that 2 are in stock.  However, a customer may not know it is in stock because the swatch is gray and makes the items seem like it is not available.

I have followed the above steps and didn’t find the gray swatch. During my tests, I have recorded my screen: https://www.loom.com/share/3a0674f4bffe454bbab517cf784d434e
