Hi S,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you disable our Swatches plugin and check if is it working without our plugin or not?

Thank you

S van heeswijk

Hello Hakik,

I deactivated all plugins besides Woocommerce and Elementor and Pro then there was no error.

When I activate Variation Swatches for WooCommerce the error is coming back.

Hi S,

Could you record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to quickly figure out the issue.

Thank you

Hi S,

Can you please remove all jQuery CDNs from your site? I have checked your site you are forcing a jQuery CDN and the jQuery version is 3.6.0. Please check here: https://paste.pics/PICIM

I can see you are using WordPress 6.3.1 and the default jQuery version of WordPress 6.3.1 is 3.7.0. Please check this screenshot: https://paste.pics/PICJV

Also, you can check this official article on WordPress to learn about the jQuery version: https://make.wordpress.org/core/2023/07/18/miscellaneous-developer-changes-in-wordpress-6-3/

Please use the default jQuery version to avoid any unexpected issues and don’t force any additional jQuery.

Thank You

Hi,

Okay thanks for the info.

Your saying my JQuary has to be 3.7.

But how?

Hakik Zaman

Hi S,

jQuery is a built-in library of WordPress core. So, it is already with your WordPress installation. You have no need to take action to add jQuery 3.7.0. When you are using WordPress 6.3.1 jQuery 3.7.0 is already there for you.

You have no need to add it again to your site.

You have an Elementor Widget which is forcing the jQuery CDN.

Please identify the widget and remove the additional jQuery. It will resolve your issue.

Thank You

Hi sir,

I have no idea what should I do now?

Can you help me?

Hakik Zaman

Hi S,

Unfortunately, the issue is coming from a third-party plugin.

It is out of our support scope if the issue is coming from a third-party source.

Still, you can remove all the widget which is forcing external jQuery. For example, https://paste.pics/PJ18R

The menu is forcing an external jQuery. If you have a developer please contact him/her regarding the external jQuery.

It is very bad practice to push external jQuery when WordPress Core is providing you jQuery library.

I have checked your site and found different versions of jQuery. Please check these screenshots:

I hope I could clear up your confusion.

Thank You

Hello Hakik,

I had contact with Woocommerce and they say it has to do something with your plugin and jQuery.

Cheers

Hakik Zaman

Hi S,

I am sorry I think my message was not clear enough.

The issue is not coming for WooCommerce. I don’t know why you have contacted them.

The issue is for the jQuery version. You are using the Elementor plugin.

If you have developed your site by yourself, then you have added a widget where an extra jQuery is forced.

If you have a developer, s/he is using an Elementor widget which is forcing extra jQuery.

I have already given you an example here: https://paste.pics/PJ1AH

I think this screenshot will clear your confusion: https://paste.pics/PKJVA

If not, please contact your developer to remove all the external jQuery. As I said before, jQuery is a built-in library of WordPress core. So, it is already with your WordPress installation. You have no need to take action to add extra jQuery CDN.

Our plugin will work smoothly with the WordPress-built jQuery version.

Thank You
