Want To Add Extra Images Per Product Variation For Free? Download Now

Lars Kros

Hi, I was adding the Variation Swatches for WooCommerce, but the user interface for adding a product has changed since last time I worked with swatches. I am not able to find the option to make a product variable, so that the swatches are visible if you click on a product. Can you help me please?

Btw, I’m still working on a local website.

Kind regards,

Lars Kros

Hi Lars,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I was adding the Variation Swatches for WooCommerce, but the user interface for adding a product has changed since last time I worked with swatches.

Creating products and variations is the feature of WooCommerce. Our plugin just converts the default dropdown to beautiful swatches.

Please check this WooCommerce official link: https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#adding-a-variable-product to create a variable product.

I hope it will help you to achieve your goal.

Thank You

Please read my ticket. I told you that the UI has changed and that there is no dropdown to select ‘variable product’.

Yes, I have read your ticket carefully. As I said before:

Creating products and variations is the feature of WooCommerce.

Did you try to give any screenshots? Unfortunately, it was not attached properly. Please upload your screenshot here and post the screenshot link: https://paste.pics/ on this thread.

Thank You

Hi Lars,

Thanks for giving us the screenshots. Which WooCommerce version you are using on your site?

The interface you have on your site is not for our plugin. We have no control over that.

Is your site hosted on WordPress.com? I think you should contact WooCommerce support regarding layout-related issues.

I have tested my local server using WooCommerce Version 7.9.0. I didn’t find any changes from my end: https://paste.pics/OY9OY.

By the way, you can perform a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except WooCommerce Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the problem is resolved, you can understand which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

Thank You
