Swatches disappear after updating

Hendro Lim

Hi,

The swatches on our product pages disappear after updating to the latest version. Could you please help? We have customers complaining already.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hendro,

Thank you for reaching out to us. From your description, I am not clear where swatches are not displaying. If it is not displaying on the shop/archive page, please make sure you have enabled this option: https://paste.pics/O4GAA

If it not displaying on the single product page, please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except the WooCommerce and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this: https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to figure out the issue quickly.

And don’t forget to add your site login details in the site login details area. I’ll check what’s happening there.

Note: Using your current login details I can’t access your admin dashboard.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin, and set the info here.

And add your site URL, login username, and password in the site login area. Follow this guideline: https://www.useloom.com/share/27c1f2ac633c4060b2da883d946107d7

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you

Hi,

I have updated the login details, please check.

The swatches are enabled for the shop/archive page as per your instruction. I’ve tried the deactivating the plugins, none seems to be helping with the swatches, unfortunately.

I am not sure what to record on Loom, since I didn’t change the settings in the first place that would have caused this.

Hi Hendro,

Please temporarily disable our Swatches plugin and check whether the default WooCommerce dropdown is visible or not.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank You

Hi,

I have disable the 2 plugins (1 normal, 1 pro) and clear Litespeed cache, test site, no swatches. And then I reactivated both plugins, clear the cache again, test site and still no swatches. I tested the site using 2 browsers, chrome and safari, clearing cache for both.

Any other ideas?

Hi Hendro,

Unfortunately, in that case, the issue is not coming from our side.

If the dropdown displays, our plugin will automatically display the swatches.

Please perform a plugin compatibility check by disabling all the plugins except WooCommerce.

If the issue still persists, please contact WooCommerce support regarding the dropdown displaying issue.

Thank You
