Variation Switch Issue

Good day
After the new update, my images doesn’t switch according to the selection on the product variation, it only shows the default product image.
Here’s the Website Link: https://carytownoptical.com/shop-2/salt/salt-sandia/
What can I do to fix this.
I have disable all plugins and activated the 2023 WordPress theme but it’s still the same
Thank you

Hi Frikkie,

Changing images is not a feature of our plugin, is a feature of WooCommerce itself.

Could you disable our Swatches plugin and check if is it working without our plugin or not?

Thank you

When I disable the plugin then yes the images changes according to the selection

Hi Frikkie,

From my inspection, you are not using our plugin: https://prnt.sc/HwzbtZpXtQ9A. You are using Product Variation Swatches for WooCommerce.

Please try to connect with the correct author regarding your issue.

Thank You

This is your plugin Variation Gallery for WooCommerce right?

If you inspect the image it shows woo-variation-product-gallery woo-variation-product-gallery-thumbnail-columns-3 woo-variation-gallery-has-product-thumbnail woo-variation-gallery-enabled-thumbnail-slider

Hi Frikkie,

Yes, Variation Gallery for WooCommerce is our plugin. To clear up the confusion, can you please share which plugin support you need? I can see you have opened a ticket using the Variation Swatches.

From my inspection, you are using Elementor. If you want support for the Gallery plugin, please make sure you have added the same gallery widgets for two separate screen sizes or not. For example, one is for desktop and one is for mobile.

If so, remove one widget and make your single product using one gallery widget.

While you have two galleries on the same page (though one is hidden on the desktop screen), our plugin will target the last widget. Because both galleries have the same ids.

I hope the above explanation will help you to understand the plugin workflow.

Thank You

Thank you very much for your support.

I have removed the mobile view that I created and everything works now fine.

Yes, we are using elementor as the page builder.

When we created the shop, desktop has one view/layout and mobile has another view/layout. Is there a way that I can have the mobile view and desktop and still use your plugin?

Hi Frikkie,

Is there a way that I can have the mobile view and desktop and still use your plugin?

Unfortunately, it is not possible. Please make your structure so that one gallery can be used for both screens.

While you have two galleries on the same page (though one is hidden on the desktop screen), our plugin will target the last widget. Because both galleries have the same ids.

Thank You

Thank you very much for all your support and help

I have restructured the layout to only use one Gallery for both mobile and desktop and hide all of the other elements that’s not necessary on the respective views/devices. Everything works now perfectly on all devices.

Great customer support for the free version, I will definitely bookmark your website for any future projects and upgrade to your premium plugin.

Thank you very much
