Select Dropdown Issue

Stas Il

Hello, I am having a strange issue.

I have a couple of bundle products with multiple “select/dropdown” variation types. For some reason when your plugin is active the first variation gets converted to a button, while the rest of the variations are select drop-down boxes as intended.

How can we make sure that the first variation on the product page is also a select drop-down box?

Hi Stanislav,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

For some reason when your plugin is active the first variation gets converted to a button

Please make sure the attribute type of the first variation. If you have configured it as a button it will display as a button.

By default, if you enabled this option: https://i2.paste.pics/NC0NS.png it will convert all the dropdowns into buttons. But you can control the attribute type from the product level settings: https://i2.paste.pics/NC0SV.png

Thank You

This is how I have it configured on product page and global settings page

However the “Vice Flavor 1” is still showing up as button. In fact all of our product pages that are setup the same way with multi drop down variations, the first one is always converted to buttons for some reason.

Hi Stanislav,

Did you try to attach a screenshot? Unfortunately, it was not attached properly. Please try to upload your screenshot here: https://paste.pics/ and post directly the screenshot URL.

Thank You

Hi, yes I just edited the above post.

Hi Stas,

Please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except the WooCommerce, Product bundle, and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

Note: You can use Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to perform the compatibility test.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please don’t forget to add your site login details in the site login details area. I’ll check what’s happening there.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin, and set the info here.

And add your site URL, login username, and password in the site login area. Follow this guideline: https://www.useloom.com/share/27c1f2ac633c4060b2da883d946107d7

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you

Hello, there is no plugin compatibility issue. I’ve added the credentials to our staging environment, please have a look. thank you.

Another issue that I believe is related is:

I have an attribute “Nicotine Strength” I want this attribute to be a select and not a button.

When I change this attribute to “select” it changes to a button/image on the front page, even though in the general settings of the plugin I don’t have “Convert dropdowns to buttons” enabled.

I only have “Convert dropdowns to buttons if the variation has an image” however in my case the Nicotine Strength variations do not have an image.

Looks like I figured out the issue, however I think it’s a bug in the functionality.

In order for the plugin to behave how I want, both of the “Convert dropdowns to button” options cannot be enabled.

Hi Stas Il,

Can you please give me some exact product links where I can check the issue for you?
