Site broken while setting up the plugin

Hello:
We are trying to set up an online store in a development environment with your plugin. When doing so we have problems with some parts of the web, since they are being deconfigured such as the menu and the Footer and some static pages.
We do not understand very well what is happening and we would like you to help us find the solution since it has happened to us several times activating and deactivating the plugin.
