Archive Page Selection Issues

Irene D'Anna

We’re working on a WooCommerce site that’s still being staged and tested. We purchased the Pro version of the Swatch plugin and it had been working perfectly until today. In the past, selecting an option from the selector on an archive page would change the image, change the “Select Options” button to an “Add to Cart” button, and display the “Clear” link (we have “Show clear link on archive / shop page.” setting enabled). Out of stock options would also correctly be marked with an X.

As of today, however, selecting an option changes only the image. The button does not change, nor does the “clear” link show. Another symptom of the problem is that out of stock products are no longer marked with an “X” through them.

Note that these issues apply only to archive pages; the single product pages still work as they always have.

We’ve tried deactivating all plugins besides WooCommerce and the Swatch plugin as well as clearing our site cache and the problem persists. The JS Console in Firefox, Chrome, and Edge all show no errors or warnings when using the inspector. There was a recent update to WooCommerce itself that may be causing the issue, but we have not been able to identify what might specifically be causing the issue.

Can you please give us temporary admin access to your site? We’ll try to investigate the issue for you.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin and set the info here.

And add your site URL, login username, and password in the site login area. Follow this guideline: https://www.useloom.com/share/27c1f2ac633c4060b2da883d946107d7

Hi Irene,

You had enabled the Catalog Mode, without proper setup: https://prnt.sc/RyaveyDv8uk5

I have disabled it for now. Can you please check and let me know your feedback?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank You

That seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you very much.
