Hi Michael,

You have added the default value as “Bonnie and Clyde” and didn’t add a variation thumbnail.

That’s why it picks the main thumbnail and the additional image from “Bonnie and Clyde” initially.

If you remove the default value it will load the Product thumbnail and the Product Gallery first.

Ah i see. Thank you for the clarification.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for the variations to also show the product images alongside the variation images? If there are product images set, that means that they should apply to all variations

Hi Michael,

We had this in our previous versions.

But we got many complaints from our customers. Even they considered it a bug.

So, unfortunately, it is not possible at this moment.
