Thanks for getting back to us. Our plugin is compatible with WordPress Core.
From version 5.5, WordPress has its own lazy load feature. We architect our codebase based on the core. Please check this article as a reference- https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/07/14/lazy-loading-images-in-5-5/
So, to avoid any unexpected behavior please use WordPress’s default lazy load feature.

Incompatible with Jetpack?

Using Variation Swatches alongside with Jetpack Boost’s lazy loading feature, product image shows temporarily. Moments later, when available variations are evaluated and corresponding variation buttons get displayed and/or crossed out, the product image disappears. Turning off Jetpack’s lazy image loading leads to proper image displaying, so the question is: is Variable Swatches plugin incompatible with Jetpack?
