Hi Gena,
You have created an “image” type- https://paste.pics/JN28M attribute but didn’t add images for the terms- https://paste.pics/JN294.
For now, I have changed the attribute type to “select“- https://paste.pics/JN2AK. Now, these variation images will be displayed as image swatches- https://paste.pics/JN2CF
If you want to use the “image” type attribute you have to add images for each term to get images as swatches. Please check this documentation.

Variation images on a single product page

Hello,
In the single product page, the variation select had an image background that I chose in the variation section of the product edit view.
Until now it worked perfectly, but since I’ve changed the name of a variation type, it shows an image only if I put it in the Attributes themselves or not show an image at all.
Why is the switch from one source to the other? The goal is for it to work with the product edit image.
