New functionality needed – show which variation has a discount

Dear support,

I really miss a much-needed functionality in the Variation Swatches plugin.

Problem: When you have multiple variations for a product and 1 or more of those variations are on sale, this isn’t clear to the customer. The customer has to select/ deselect all variations one by one to be able to see which variation has a discount.

Solution: When 1 or more variations are on sale, it would be great if this immediately showed up on the variation with a notification. Something like the ‘stock left ‘ notification for each variation.

Would it be possible to implement this functionality and if so, what would be realistic planning?

=> We already have this option for showing variation product stock quantity notifications. To do that, you can follow this guideline – https://getwooplugins.com/documentation/woocommerce-variation-swatches/#show-variation-product-stock-notice

=> I am not clear about the variation discount. Did you mean it – https://prnt.sc/FabZ3-pGgegO ? Could you elaborate on this point so I may better assist you?

Hi,

Sorry, maybe I’m not clear enough in my description. what I intend to explain is the following:

please check this product page: https://krachtshop.nl/shop/repen/proteine-repen/
1 of those products has a discount (0,49 euro instead of 1,95 euro)
But for customers it’s not clear which variation has this discount, they have to click and try all variations 1 by 1 to find out…Please try yourself to know what I mean
The solution I need is that there is a small notification below or above the variation with something like ‘on sale’, just like the ‘ stock left’ functionality you indeed already have 🙂
Can you help me?

I understood your concern but unfortunately, the price is handled by the woocommerce plugin instead of our plugin.
