I have used those and can adjust the height and the font size, but since using the CSS to make them sit horizontally, the width won’t change. I’d like the buttons to be square with the writing on two lines to fit that shape.

Can you please give us temporary admin access to your site? We’ll try to investigate the issue for you.
You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin, and set the info here.

Can’t change variation button size after made horizontal with CSS

Hi,
This is a great plugin, thank you! I am having some issues though.
I was struggling to make my variations sit horizontally instead of vertically, and found another person posted the same issue. They were given the following CSS to add in Additional CSS in Appearance > Customise:
.single table.variations {
width: 100% !important;
}
This worked fine however I can’t change the size of the buttons on the product page. I want them to be smaller and more square, but when I change the size in the styling settings nothing happens. Font size and height works, just not width.
Edit: I’ve just noticed it is something to do with the text – it won’t shrink past the length of the text, whereas before I added the CSS it would make the text go to two lines, so the box could be square. Is is possible to put the text on two lines while still having horizontal buttons?
