Problems After update

Hi,

the plugin is not working well after an update of WooCommerce like before.

The following functions ar  missed, which I allready configured before, and they worked well until to the update:

  1. Choosing a certain color (round shape) the according image with these color is not shown in the galery
  2. When I choose an Option of a product, the Message is shown, that before putting the item to basket, a choise of the options has to be done, even it has been done already, and the item can’t forwarded to the Basket.

Would be Great if you could forwarder a Solution, or could fix the Problem

I did that already! When I deavtivate Var Swatches it works: after choosing any Option, the product is putted to the basket.

As  I already told you, if  Var-Swatches is not activated, it Works, to put the Product according the choised Option to the basket.

I would like to remind you that I also sent all the access Data with my first Support inquiry: So you could go direktly to wp-content Management or via ftp-acces to the server.

I will try to use the mentioned tool to get in contact with you next time!

Hi Christoph,

Please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except the WooCommerce and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the problem is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

Hi Hakik,

I checked all plugins, and I found the plugin which makes conflicts with Var-Swatches. It is the Events calendar!

But this Plugin is urgently needed for the page. So I ask you to look for the conflict. It would be very helpful, you could find a Solution.

Because that is your production site. You may lose site content/data during our tests.

I hope it will clear up your confusion.

Note: You have no need to replicate the whole site. Just replicate the issue for one product.

I installed the Events calendar  as an plugin to the Demo page and also used the them I used on the original page.

I create one product with Variation in color with the according Attributes and with Var-Swatches, means color Buttons. And it Works, no failure!

I can Install the pro Version on the Demo page, because I have only one licence key. So it is not nearby the reality working Environment like on the Homepage.

Hi Hakik,

I and some other plugins to make the working space mir real. But “unfortunately” there is no  Dysfunktion while choosing any Option of an variable product. After choosing it is added to the basket, without any problem. So I went back to the Homepage and aktivated the there th events calendar plugin again. Same Problem than before:

I would like to choose the Option, but no Reaktion, allways the Message you have to choose any option. And the is no product puttet to the basket. While daktivating the events´calendar again, you can choose a color, it reacts and th accoding image above the round shared color Button is shown, and the product can be added to the basket.

I guess there musst be some other reasons which also caused thi failure, even it Happens only by akivating the events calendar. Because I can’t Install the pro Version of the Himalaya Theme, there is no real Testing Enviroment.

I have no idea what to do.

I have already checked our staging. You have tried to replicate your issue but it is not happening with the plugin (Event Calender Plugin) mentioned.

1 had a conflict bereden two Plugins:
Variation Swatches and wp-Optimise
The Support find out, that it has been caused by two adiustements of wp-optimise.

Support is reliable! And the Plugin individualize the variations of the products in the Shop.

The clear link is the standard feature of WooCommerce. BTW, you can add the following CSS at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to remove the clear link:

.single table.variations a.reset_variations {
   display: none;
}

thanks for the css-Code concerning the clearence Link.

could you provide me with a Solution, to adjust vaiatiation swatches That way, That I Could have on some product sites a simple drop down menu for Variations resp. Options? Without buttons, Images, of Color fields. Just Text, and drop down for choosing the option.

Go to those product edit pages and change attribute types to select from Swatches Settings Tab.
