Ian Millar

Hi,

I previously sent a support ticket looking for help with your plugin, however no one has bothered to reply to me!?

Can someone please get in touch regarding your variation swatched plug in as it is not working correctly.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry for your inconvenience.

Can you please share the previous ticket ID? BTW, can you please explain a bit more about your issue?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank You

Ian Millar

Hi,

I am trying to locate my previous ticket however i cannot see it anywhere. Perhaps i have not finished the process correctly. Apologies!

So we have activated your plugin and it seems to be working ok, however there is a few things we would like from your plugin and i am wondering if you would be able to help.

FYI – We are using woocommerce with an Elementor Pro builder.

1 -There seems to be a grey outline around the variations, would we be able to remove this. I can’t seem to see how to remove. See attached

2 – The Attribute title “theme” shows above the variations, would we also be able to remove this?

3 – As per some demo videos we have found with your tool, we would like to change the main image of the product when that variation is clicked. Ideally, we would like to show a whole new set of images if possible. Would you know if we could do this?

4 – We already have these variations set up as product pages, with their own SKU’s which link up to our fulfilment centres.

Is it possible to create variations using the existing products? I know this isnt entirely anything to do with your plugin, but any help on this would be appreciated.

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

Sorry for our late response, we had a vacation.

The link you provided is not working from my side-

https://www.mindpanda.com/product/callum-test-product-page/

BTW, could you temporarily deactivate our swatches plugin and check whether the grey outline is still there or not?

Thank You

Ian Millar

Hi,

It may not be working because the Page is not published, you will have to sign in no?

With your plugin set as disabled, the box still appears yes.

Thanks

Ian

Hi,

We really need this working ASAP. Is there anyway we can go on a call with someone to streamline this process as this back and forth is not efficient at all!

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

The issues you listed are not related to our plugin. Still, we have tried to help with some points:

1 -There seems to be a grey outline around the variations, would we be able to remove this. I can’t seem to see how to remove. See attached

2 – The Attribute title “theme” shows above the variations, would we also be able to remove this?

Please add the below CSS at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

.single.woo-variation-swatches th.label {
   display: none;
}

.single.woo-variation-swatches table.variations,
.single.woo-variation-swatches tr,
.single.woo-variation-swatches th,
.single.woo-variation-swatches td{
   border: none !important;
}

We don’t deal with the image changing or SKU. It is the basic behavior of WooCommerce.

You should contact your theme support regarding your issues. I hope it will clear up your confusion.

Thank You

Hi There,

Thank you for this. The code worked ok.

Ok – But it shows on your product demo that when you select a swatch – It changes the main image on the left .

See below a Youtube video you posted.

Its shows the T shirt changing to red as you select the red variation.

Hi Ian,

If you check carefully, you can understand the images are changing based on the default dropdown initially.

Then we enable the Variation Swatches plugin and after reloading the page, the dropdown is just displayed as a button swatch.

I hope it will clear up your confusion.

Thank You

Ian Millar

Hi,

Ah yes you are correct.

Would you please be able to help me figure out how this is done please?

Many Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

It is the default behavior of WooCommerce.

So, you have no need to do anything. But sometimes, the theme developer changes some code to represent a single product page.

Can you please contact your theme support regarding this matter?

I hope they can help you to achieve what you wanted.

Thank You
