Product variation disabled even when in stock

Hi,

We use your plugin and we love it !

We have a website with backorders allowed on specific products.
We are having an issue with the radio buttons which are disabled despite having backorders allowed on these products.

Currently there seems to be an issue with the state of stock of a current product on backorders and the variation button (“.button-variable-item”) which remains “disabled”.

This prevents the user from selecting variations while they should be clickable to order a product on backorder.

We noticed this problem recently, and it may be due to the WooCommerce version and the plugin version. We tried with a previous version of the plugin but it does not work either.

Could you kindly look into this for us please ?

Hi Grégory,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except the WooCommerce and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this. https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to figure out the issue quickly and squash it immediately.

And don’t forget to add your site login details in the site login details area. I’ll check what’s happening there.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin, and set the info here.

We think we identified a potential why of the issue :

When we create all variations from attributes, things seem to work fine and we can click on all variations buttons.
When we remove one or multiple variations from the product OR create them by hand, missing variations cause variations buttons to be disabled on the front-end

As I informed you, backorders are enabled yet variations buttons are disabled on this product (so far other scooters are not affected). We think this could be due to removing / creating variations and the plugin might be referencing to their index – when a variation is removed, the index can’t be found..
