A grid option for thumbnails would be nice

We bought the Pro version of this plugin for our site with the misunderstanding that we would be able to choose between displaying a grid for each variation gallery, or the slider style. We were disappointed in not having that choice. Is there any simple modification that you can assist us with to show a grid of the variation gallery images?
