Auto selection not showing all variation options

Hello and thank you for the excellent support on my previous question (ticket #117432).

I think this is working well, though now when I’m taken to the single product page, not all available variation option seem to be visible/available to the user.

For example, on the Bits Cap product, if you select the royal/white option on the Shop page (https://bitsinthesticks.com/shop/) you are taken to the single product page (https://bitsinthesticks.com/product/bits-cap/) but the only available Manufacturer option becomes Richardson Headwear and the only available Model option becomes 112.

Yet if you clear all options and then click the royal/white variation, you’ll see there are actually more Manufacturer and Model options available for the royal/white selection.

Please let me know what I’m missing here.

Hi Jerry,

Did you write any code block to select the first attribute automatically?

From my inspection, if you select Royal/White/Royal and click on that swatches Richardson Headwear, and 112 are automatically selected.

That’s why the rest of the options are not displayed.

Please let me know if you have something like that.

Hi Hakik,

No, I don’t believe there’s any code auto-selecting an attribute. I’ve even installed the twentytwentytwo theme and activated it and the same issue persists.

In the cap product, there are no default attributes set initially and there are 2 possible options for the Royal/White/Royal cap (Pacific 104C and Richardson 112). Therefore I’m expecting the color variation to be selected but the others to still be “open” with no options selected.

I am very sorry. I have contacted the development team.

They confirmed it is from our side. When you select the color (while catalog mode enabled) and redirect to the single product page, our plugin automatically selects all first attributes.

It is our new feature. But you need only one attribute selected to get the rest of the attributes for another dropdown list.

I have already sent this to our development and research team. They confirmed they will bring a feature to select only an attribute.
