Thanks for reaching out to us. The feature you have described is not a feature of the Additional Variation Images Gallery.
It is a feature of the Variations Swatches Pro plugin. I think you are searching for this.

Only change gallery with one variation

I am having trouble configuring the additional gallery so that the gallery changes only on the color selection, could you walk me through the parameters for that to work like in the shoe demo?
We have pro for both plugins, love how they work, we migrated to your plugins from a much more limited and clunky plugin.
