Variations with images are not displayed

Hi,

after the latest update our single product page does not show the images anymore.

We have 2 variations. One with wheels and one with color.

We need to have the color attribut / variation with color images. The images are set at the product base, but are not shown in the frontend page.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for reaching out to us. You are using the 1.1.19 version. I think you may be rollback to the older version.

BTW, your ‘Fabre’/’Color’ is a select type attribute. Do you want to display color or image?

For the Color Type Attribute: check this documentation.

For the Image Type Attribute: check this documentation.

Thank You

Thanks for your answer. I want to display the image of the product variation!

OK i switch back to 1.1.18 but how can I enable the pro features then?

Hi Christian,

Could you update your free and premium version of the WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin?

The current version of swatches plugins is the following.

Variation Swatches for WoooCoommerce – Version 2.0.1

Variation Swatches for WooCommerce Pro – Version 2.0.1

Please make sure you are using the same version.

Thank You

I have updated to the latest version of the plugin but still have the same error.

Same configuration on all sites. But

Working: https://www.hebammen-kinderwagen.de/shop/bebebi-florenz-3-in-1-kombi-kinderwagen/

Not working: https://www.bebebi.de/produkt/bebebi-florenz-3-in-1-kombi-kinderwagen/

I don’t understand why it is working on one site and not on the other site.

Also when I change the Attribute to show the image for (Special attributes) nothing changes.

Is there any way to get it fixed? Do you need access to my site?

Hi Christian,

Could you record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to quickly figure out the issue.

Thank you

I found the issue.

It is because of the order of the product attributes. When I move the color attribute before the wheel attribute then the color attribute is shown correctly.

Maybe I understand the plugin wrong, but I thought that I can choose the attribute which creates the images choice by using the options in the plugin backend.

Correct Way:

Hi Christian,

Unfortunately, your screenshot was not attached properly.

Please upload your screenshot here and post directly the screenshot link on this thread.

Thank You

Hi Christian,

Thanks for giving us the screenshots. You are using the Dropdowns to Image feature.

By default, our plugin applied on the first attribute for the Dropdowns to Image feature.

Yes, you are absolutely right! Changing the position of the attribute can be a solution.

But if you want to change the behavior you can change the attribute from Product Edit Page > Swatches Settings Tab (Under Variations) > Dropdown to Image Attribute. Here is a visual example- https://prnt.sc/10Um3w-zYgHw for better understanding.

Thank You

Ah ok. Thanks.

But it would be great if the plugin can make this changes sidewide.

we are using JTL for warehouse software and an JTL Connector for WordPress. We are not able to change anything in the products via WordPress Dashboard, because of the settings in JTL.

So if your plugin can change this sidewide it would be awesome.

Hi Christian,

Unfortunately, the feature is not currently available.

But it’s a great idea. I will forward your request to our Research and Development team. Please also send the feature request here: https://storepress.fider.io/

and ask your other to upvote it.

Thanks
