Variation Swatches for WooCommerce 2.0

lee lee

Hi,

I updated Variation Swatches to 2.0 today, and all my swatch become Woocommerce default dropdowns.

Hakik Zaman

Hi lee,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Variation Swatches Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to figure out the issue quickly.

And don’t forget to add your site login details in the site login details area. I’ll check what’s happening there.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin, and set the info here.

And add your site URL, login username, and password in the site login area. Follow this guideline: https://www.useloom.com/share/27c1f2ac633c4060b2da883d946107d7

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you

Hi Hakik,

The dufault setting is

“Button Convert default dropdowns to button”

I did more test as video. https://www.loom.com/share/30353fd1708d431883c06d87f26d3d84

I can only open product one by one and clicking save (no need to change anything) to fix this problem.

Hi lee,

Glad to know you have fixed the problem on your own.

Is there anything I can help with?

or,

Can I close the ticket?

Thank You

lee lee

Hi Hakik,

No, it’s not fixed.  There’re 1000 items in my store, I can’t open product one by one to fix this problem.

Hakik Zaman

Hi lee,

If you have 1000 items then the migration script will take time to load the settings options.

Did you get any migration notice on the top of the page (Inside your admin panel area)?

Thank You

Hi Hakik,

If you have 1000 items then the migration script will take time to load the settings options.

if you mean after I updating to 2.0, I should wait for a while for every items to apply this setting?  I updated to 2.0 about 36 hours ago.

Did you get any migration notice on the top of the page (Inside your admin panel area)?

No. there’s no notice.

Hi lee,

Yes, we have a script to restore the data. Unfortunately, you attempt before our script runs and interrupt the process. 🙁

Thank You

Hi Hakik,

Could you please let me know how to do? I delete and reinstall the plugin again?

Hakik Zaman

Hi lee,

I just confirmed that our previous plugin data was not removed. So, you can go to the previous version by doing the following steps:

You can roll back to the 1.1.19 version for free and the 1.1.18 version for premium versions. Here is the tutorial on how you can rollback: https://www.loom.com/share/2d8bc9351e864e1d964e319e27564250

Please download the 1.1.18 pro version for Variation Swatches For WooCommerce from here:

Hi Hakik,

May I ask if you mean 2.0 has this problem, and it can’t be fixed?

Hakik Zaman

Hi lee,

May I ask if you mean 2.0 has this problem, and it can’t be fixed?

2.0 is not the issue. We didn’t delete the old data from your database. So, there is a chance to get old data if you roll back to the older version.

Then update again to 2.0.2 version.

Thank You
