variations don’t show after plugin update

We just updated the plugin Variation Swatches for WooCommerce (from version 1.1.19 to 2.0.0) and all our variations don’t show anymore on our website. We would very much appreciate your help as soon as possible because it is high season and we can not sell anything like that.

Hi Yvonne,

Can you please give us a temporary admin access to your site? We’ll try to investigate the issue for you.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin and set the info here.

Thank you for your message. So to make everything work again, I downloaded the previous version of your plugin and now it works. So I guess there must be a problem with the newest plugin version. I will give you the access to our website, just give me a couple minutes. Thank you so much for your support.

Hi Yvonne,

We are sorry for your inconvenience.

We have updated the whole codebase, version 2.0 is a massive change. After upgrading Free and Pro both to version 2 we run a migration, it’s may take a few hours (depends on product number) to adjust previous settings.

So we suggest you update both versions in your safe time (maybe at night) and remember to clear/disable all kinds of cache.

Thank you for your response. So do I understand it right, that if I update to the newest versions of the Free and Pro, it will start working normally after a couple of hours? Because last time I updated, the site was not working for many hours.

The better option is to make a staging site and run the test on it before the update on the main site.

I just tried to update to the newest version of the plugin on the staging site. And I still have the same problem. It only shows empty boxes next to the product photos instead of the colors. I can not put new color variations in because the button for Swatches Variation on the product edit is missing.

What do you suggest I do now?
