broken image/ blue block is shown on variation swatches

Dear support,

I’m having this issue that all variation swatches on all products display a ‘broken image’/ ‘blue block image’ on them, please see the provided image.

I’m not using a caching plugin. When I was using it, the problem was the Combine CSS option. But now, I don’t know.

Hope you know what is causing this behaviour?
