Disable on product / category page

Paul Malin

Hi,

I want to disable the swatches completely on certain categories and products but keep them active on some.

I see that you can control this from the product page in the swatches tab but I want to completely disable them to use the our themes native drop down style etc.

Is this possible?

Many Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, the feature is not currently available.

ā€‹But it’s a great idea. I’ll discuss this feature with my team.

In the meantime, please send the feature request here: https://storepress.fider.io/
and ask your other to upvote it.

Cheers!

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I need to fix it before waiting for an update.

The swatches plugin uses .wvs-saved-attrsĀ for any attribute dropdowns that have been saved, for some reason this changes the styling from a non-saved swatch.

The bus is that I have a mixture of products with either: all saved dropdowns and all non-saved dropdowns and some products have a mix of saved and non-saved dropdowns, which looks very messy especially on mobile.

All I want to do is for it to ignore the .wvs-saved-attrs css and use the standard .woocommerce-select css – can you advise on how to remove it please?

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, it is not possible right now. But you can achieve this by editing our plugin file.

woo-variation-swatches-pro > inc > functions.php and line number 514

Hopefully, it will help.

Thank You
