Please try increasing this value to 80.
If your products have more than 80 variations, then you will need the premium version of our plugin.
In the above screenshot, you will notice that the premium version has an option to disable ajax.
Thus there is no limit.

Cross will not show when out of stock

Some variable products will not show cross when out of stock.
But some variable products will works and the cross is showing when the variable products is out of stock.
